Blizzard Reveals the Price of the Battle Pass for Diablo 4

We know a surprising amount of details about Diablo 4 already, and the creators are eager to share more of them. This time Blizzard decided to talk about the Battle Pass, as well as they have revealed its price.

During a live broadcast yesterday, Community Leader Adam Fletcher announced that the Battle Pass in Diablo 4 will cost $10.

Every season of the game would bring a new Battle Pass, meaning that we will get about three months to complete quests and unlock rewards. There will also be a free version of the pass available for everyone.

A paid version of the Battle Pass would offer more rewards to unlock, but they should only be cosmetic items without affecting the balance of gameplay.

As part of the pass, we will have to perform daily tasks like completing specific quests or killing monsters. For now, it is not clear whether combat passes will be purchasable with gold earned in the game or only with real cash.

Combat passes are becoming increasingly common in game-services. This is an additional progression system that – most often for a fee – grants access to new challenges and unique rewards.

First game in the series to include a Battle Pass is the mobile Diablo Immortal. With Diablo 4, however, us can expect multi-year support, and therefore many expansions, season and subsequent Battle Passes.

The Diablo 4 will make its debut on June 6, 2023. You can already place pre-orders, which will grant access to closed beta tests in the near future, but it’s worth remembering that the collector’s edition does not include the game.

This title will be available on PC and PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles. What do you think about Diablo 4? Let us know in the comments below.
