Europe’s PEGI authority’s official website unexpectedly displayed the age category for Borderlands 3’s version for… Nintendo Switch.
PEGI’s website has also been displaying age categories for expansions and extra content for the Switch version for several days, including Psycho Krieg and the fantastic Fustercluck, Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock and Bounty of Blood.
Borderlands 3’s publisher has yet to announce a desire to release the game on Switch. Given that Borderlands 2 appeared on Nintendo’s console in 2020 (as part of the Borderlands Legendary Collection release), it seemed only a matter of time for such a move.
What remains to be done at the moment is to wait for official confirmation of these revelations by 2K Games and Gearbox Software.
Other, exciting “age category” related news concerns Final Fantasy XVI. The Square Enix game has now received an age category in Brazil, hinting that the release of this Action RPG is very close.
