Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Is Free for 5 Days

Infinity Ward released a major update for the latest installment of Call of Duty, which in addition to fixing many bugs and imperfections, gives access to a new mode and the first raid. Meanwhile, yet another free weekend has been launched on the production servers.

Between December 15 and 19, all shooter enthusiasts can check out the network mode from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Developers are offering three maps and four gameplay variants, and in the course of the competition we can experience play from a first- or third-person perspective.

This initiative got off to an unusually good start, as a major update loaded with a number of attractions has been released on the servers.

The participants try in action new operators or weapons (Chimera), but there are other novelties worthy of special attention – the Shipment returned to the game, and we also received as many as two new modes.

The Call of Duty community will enter the first of five raids – they are cooperative missions with a high level of difficulty, which are intended to be a kind of expansion of the story campaign. While fighting and solving puzzles, adventurers can count on new plot threads and “old friends.”

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 also features Warzone Cup, which is strongly inspired by Rocket League – special vehicles are put at the disposal of a team of three players to push the ball to the big goal.

The winner is the team that is the first to score 5 goals or, after a five-minute duel, will have the greater number of points. It is a timed variant of the game.
