Several of you are surely familiar with the game Falcon 4.0, which is an advanced simulator of American 4-16 fighter jets, with MicroProse studio responsible for its creation. This game was released back in 1998 in cooperation with Hasbro Interactive.

So, you will also probably remember that the simulator was released in a terrible technical condition – in the end, however, this game was rescued by loyal fans, who for more than twenty years have been developing the work with the help of various modifications.

However, something unusual happened recently, as the creators of the most important modification to Falcon 4.0, project BMS, intend most likely to introduce VR (virtual reality; from virtual reality) support.

On the project’s official forum, a modification author published an enigmatic post with the sentence I will give you one hint, that he repeated – the visual post was constructed in a way that reflects virtual reality, or rather VR goggles, where a different version of the image is displayed for each eye.

A bit later, information was confirmed in an official Christmas post. As is not hard to guess, lovers of the Falcon 4.0 game are already looking forward to this news.

Most believe that support for virtual reality is likely to appear in the game with version 4.37 for the BMS modification.

In turn, its creators have announced that the patch is expected to be released soon. He will also be preparing for the next patch (4.38), that will introduce a new terrain generator.

It’s worth recalling that BMS is a really big modification, improving practically every element of the Falcon 4.0 game.

the project thoroughly refreshed the visuals, bringing in completely new visual effects and improving all models or textures, which thanks to this have become more detailed.
