New “The Last of Us” Trailer From HBO: Some Scenes Confusingly Resemble the Game

“The Last of Us” series premiere from HBO is fast approaching, and new production footage has started to appear online. This time, a brief trailer with previously unshown scenes was published.

The newest teaser indicates that the creators of the adaptation of the cult game are keen on faithfully conveying the mysterious and horror-filled atmosphere of the well-known series, where a tragedy can occur at any moment.

The video published on the profile of Naughty Dog, which is the studio responsible for the game The Last of Us, features a dynamic combination of a couple of scenes from the series and complements the content demonstrated so far only in the official trailer.

Fans of the Last of Us universe are wondering to what extent the show will resemble the game. In terms of the time of the plot, it was calculated that the epidemic turning humans into monsters probably breaks out in the series in 2003, a decade earlier than in the source material.

However, locations, frames, or certain scenes are confusingly similar to those shown in the original. We should also remind you that HBO recently revealed the cast of the production.

Online posters have appeared showing the main characters and supporting characters that fans of the series will recognize. Joel Miller will play the role of Pedro Pascal, and Ellie Williams will be played by Bella Ramsey.

This series is heading to the HBO Max platform, and will premiere on January 15. What do you think about this new TV series? Let us know in the comments section below.
