The Game Awards 2022 is only a few days away, a major event where the best games of the year will be awarded. Geoff Keighley, who is in charge of the awards, doesn’t want gamers to miss the show, so he spoke about everything that will be offered on December 8.
Producer knows that gamers still have many doubts about the event, and so he answered their questions during a conversation on reddit. He used the occasion to raise the hype for the event and also promised dozens of announcements.
The Game Awards 2022 Will Feature Many Announcements and Reveals
Keighley encouraged all gamers to tune in to The Game Awards 2022, because there are plenty of reasons not to miss it. Keighley promised that there will be 30 to 40 announcements during the awards show.
Some of these will focus on new content for games already available, though there will also be “a good amount” of worldwide reveals.
Other good news is that the producer assured that many of the previews will focus on gameplay and won’t just be cinematic trailers.
Also, Keighley confirmed a preview show that will have some “big announcements”. For all of this, Keighley guaranteed an exciting and fun event.
“This year feels right. We have thousands of fans back with us, a really solid lineup of announcements and content, and an overall good show. So I’m really excited. If everything holds up and we can keep some surprises in store, it’s going to be a really fun night! It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this good about a show,” said Keighley.
