The Witcher 3’s First Post-Update Patch for PC Is Now Available

Nobody doubts that The Witcher 3 is was one of the best games of the last generation and is one of the most enjoyable RPGs we can play today.

Recently it received a patch that significantly improved the visual quality of the game to take advantage of the new generation consoles and thus launch an official version of the game on those consoles.

That patch came to PC, although the result was not as good as expected, and finally and in record time the game has received the first patch that fixes some minor bugs.

This news comes directly from Twitter, where the game’s official account has published that the hotfix for PC is already available, fixing some of the most common bugs in this version.

As we said, PC version was not the best by far and had several bugs that have already been corrected, more or less.

Thus, the patch does not make the game change version, so this is a minor patch released quickly to correct several bugs that dragged the game in the PC version, not enough to have to change the version of the game. In The Witcher 3 website says the following:

We have just released a hotfix for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC that should improve the overall stability and performance of the game, and fix the GOG and Steam overlays. The version of the game will not change.

At the same time, we have released the next-gen update for the Origin version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The version of the game will be 4.0. Our teams are working to further improve the experience on all platforms.
