The Witcher TV Series Showrunner Responds to Criticisms

Although “The Witcher” by Netflix definitely has a very huge fan base, it is impossible not to hear all the negative voices raining down on the high-profile production.

However, criticism has intensified with the recent announcement by the platform that after the third season there would be a change in the actor playing the lead role.

Naturally, a large part of the resentment falls on the showrunner of the series, Lauren Hissrich. To the point that many critics have started pointing at the creator in literally every possible place – including on Instagram.

Scale escalated to such an extent that the woman has decided to address this and, as it were, deny such negative opinions:

I have never mocked books. Books are my entire source of income. I have a great relationship with Mr. Sapkowski, and the contribution of writers is sacred and safe, and above all safe. Don’t believe everything you read.

What is true is that the media can add a little from themselves, and maybe in this case it is quite the same. Then again – criticism in terms of a departure from the book original and some changes in minor or major issues do not lie in the press or Internet portals.

And the fans of the series can be very accurate in observing things on the screen. So what is your opinion on this subject?
