James Cameron Reveals the First Details of “Avatar 3” Movie

If everything goes according to plan, “Avatar 3” will make its debut on cinema screens in December 2024. Speaking to French news site 20 Minutes, Director James Cameron revealed that the film will introduce audiences to a previously unknown Na’vi tribe – the People of Ash.

James Cameron promises the last “Avatars” will be the best

“What I want to present are cultures different from the ones I’ve already shown. The Fire will be represented by the People of Ash. I want to portray the Na’vi from a different perspective, because so far I’ve only shown their good sides.” says the director.

In the early films there are very negative examples of the people and very positive examples of the Na’vi. In “Avatar 3” we will have the opposite.

Director promises that the next films in the “Avatar” series will explore new worlds, continuing the story of the main characters.

I can tell you that the last parts will be the best,” claims Cameron, “The previous ones were an introduction, setting the table before the meal is served. Of course, however, everything will depend on how “Avatar 2” will be received, whether it will find its audience.

Let’s recall that the second “Avatar” was shot simultaneously with “Avatar 3”. If the movies turn out to be box-office hits (each of them will earn at least $2 billion), the Disney label will give the green light to make the sequels. To date, “Avatar 2” has grossed nearly $1.2 billion.

The movie is set nearly a decade and a half after the events of the first part. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) are parents to five children: Neteyam (Jamie Flatters), Lo’aka (Britain Dalton) and Tuktirey (Trinity Bliss), which are their biological offspring, and adopted Kiri (Sigourney Weaver) and Miles (Jack Champion).

Seasoned heroes strive to keep their loved ones safe, in spite of the tragedies they experience together, and the battles they must fight to survive.
