Disney Dreamlight Valley: Year in Review Featuring Some Curious Stats

It is the time of retrospectives, whereby the popular life simulation Disney Dreamlight Valley is no exception. The developer studio in charge, Gameloft, has took it all on Twitter at the turn of the year and published two graphics.

One shows the high ratings that the game received last year. The second chart is a bit more interesting, however, and contains some curious statistics for you.

The Year 2022 in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Ok, not all numbers are curious, but no less interesting because of that. Players have already spent more than 76 million hours in the world of Disney Dreamlight Valley since the Early Access launch.

In the process, the mining activity has emerged as the most popular one so far, which players are pursuing in their village. To this day, they’ve also created 4.6 million of their own designs using Touch of Magic, which is proof of the fans’ creative energy.

The other numbers on the graph, on the other hand, are somewhat more extraordinary: For example, the players have harvested more than 510 million pumpkins and opened 3.8 million realm doors.

Also, herring is by far the most caught fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley. More than 930 million nightmare thorns have been removed by players in the life simulation so far, Scrooge has earned more than 232 billion coins. Accordingly, quite a bit has definitely happened in the past twelve years.

Gameloft has already started working on the third major update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, for which no specific release date has been set yet.

Should the team stick to the usual rhythm, it should probably be released around mid-January 2023. The update will introduce house skins to the game, and according to rumors, new characters will make their debuts.

Among other things, recent speculations assume that characters from “Beauty and the Beast” might celebrate their premiere soon. Have you ever played this game? Let us know in the comments section below.
