Gylt To Launch on Other Consoles After the End of Stadia

The curtains of mystery are slowly being drawn back as Tequila Works, the masterminds behind the stylish horror game, Gylt, have announced that the game will soon be making its way to other platforms.

Gylt, known as the “gateway horror,” was previously only available on Google’s streaming service, Stadia. But as the streaming giant met its untimely demise, Tequila Works took to social media to reveal that Gylt would be “going multiplatform in 2023.”

Fast forward to the present, and Tequila Works has once again taken to social media, this time to tantalize us with the hint that not only is Gylt set to jump to other platforms, but it’s happening sooner than we think.

Though the team has been tight-lipped, they did reveal some captivating concept art and the word “soon” with the double-o made up of the wide-eyed emoji.

The question remains, on which platforms will we be able to experience the spine-tingling thrills of Gylt? Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain, we’ll be finding out more sooner rather than later. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open, as the countdown to Gylt’s multiplatform release begins.

As the digital sun set on Google Stadia on January 18th, many players were left wondering what would happen to their beloved games and controllers.

But fear not, valiant gamers, for Google has released a guide and a “self-serve tool” to help players unlock their Stadia controllers and make them compatible with other Bluetooth devices.

One such game that left a lasting impression on Stadia players was “Gylt,” a modern gateway horror that earned good reviews from many websites. Many has praised the game for its unique world-building and stylish audio and visuals, even as the gameplay itself was nothing new.

But as with all things, it’s not always about the destination, but the journey, and “Gylt” presented players with a dark and intriguing world to explore.

It’s worth noting that the game’s developer, Tequila Works, has a reputation for creating one-off games that defy genre conventions. With five games developed in the last 10 years and none of them belonging to the same genre, it’s a rare and praiseworthy feat.

And while “Gylt” may not be their best game, it’s still a worthwhile experience for fans of the horror genre, especially for those taking their first steps into the world of horror games.
