Hellblade 2 Is Microsoft’s Surprise 2023 Release According to an Insider

Microsoft is expected to provide some strong AAA games in 2023, and reportedly Hellblade 2 is also on the list. Ninja Theory is expected to get ready to present a game that will debut in the next 12 months.

Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Redfall, Minecraft Legends, Ara: History Untold, Age of Mythology: Retold, Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition and Age of Empires 4 are expected to hit Xboxes and PCs in 2023.

Sn0w1n, an Xbox brand insider, had reported just a few months ago that the Ninja Theory game could debut in 2023, but now he’s convinced – unless something bad happens, Hellblade 2 is set to hit Xboxes and PC in the next 12 months.

In the informant’s opinion, Hellblade 2 is 100% certain to debut in 2023, while Avowed is expected to hit gamers in 2024. They will be the next two games promoted by Microsoft, which will no doubt be important elements of the US corporation’s release schedules.

This situation is interesting because Sn0w1n mentioned that Hellblade 2 and Avowed could have debuted together in 2023 (2-3 months apart), but “talks were underway,” following which it was agreed that one of the games would hit the market later this year and the other would debut the following year.

According to Sn0w1n, if he’s right, Hellblade 2 will be released in the second half of 2023. We have to wait until the Microsoft show to confirm this information, of course, but the vision of Starfield, Forza and Hellblade 2 within the space of one year looks very good. Phil Spencer might provide gamers with quite a few highlights.
