New GTA 5 Loophole Lets Cheaters Ruin Other Users’ Single Player Games

A newly discovered flaw in GTA 5 for PC allows cheaters nothing less than to ruin other users’ single-player games by crashing them.

Basicly, a cheater does not even need to be in a game session to act and use the flaw to crash another player’s game. Naturally, the same one works in Gran Theft Auto Online lobbies as well.

Revealing the problem was user TezFunz2 on Twitter, who advised using a firewall and blocking all connections to fix the problem.

TezFunz2 added in another tweet that Rockstar Games, the GTA V development studio, was aware of the problem and is working to fix it as soon as possible. However, given the holiday season, it could take more than a few days to see a fix arrive.

Meanwhile, user @Speyedr_AU posted a workaround on Twitter, requiring one to simply download guardian 1.54 fastload fix and select “Locked Session.”

Speyedr_AU then explained that in case you want to let friends into your game session, simply turn off the firewall briefly, allow them through, then turn it back on.
