New Update for Need for Speed Unbound: It’s Just the Start

We have exciting news for fans of Need for Speed: Unbound. The developers recently announced the release of a new update, 1.1.4, on the official website of the game.

This update is focused on improving the stability of the game and has been released on all platforms where Need for Speed: Unbound is available. In addition to standard balance fixes and the elimination of minor bugs, the developers have also made a number of specific changes to the game.

One of the vehicles in the game, the Volkswagen Golf GTI (1976), has been rebalanced to reduce its acceleration in high gears.

Additionally, an issue where the transmission options did not affect the vehicle’s top speed as expected has been fixed. Another vehicle, the Koenigsegg Regera, has had its maximum acceleration reduced and its cornering ability improved.

The update also includes improved Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) quality on the PlayStation 5, as well as added warning messages to prevent losing progress when the game is not saving properly and when the game detects a configuration below the minimum specifications on PC. Additionally, various stability fixes have been implemented to reduce the chance of the game crashing.

In addition to the update, the game team is working on bringing new, free content to the game. Although details are not yet available, we can expect to learn more about this new content in March.

Need for Speed: Unbound was released on December 2, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. With this new update, fans of the game can look forward to even more enjoyable and stable gameplay experience.
