Overwatch 2 Has Launched a New Event

While Overwatch 2 may not have had the best start, but the title has been steadily gaining new players and proving that Blizzard still knows just how to make good online shooters. Now gamers can have fun in a new event.

Blizzard has decided to use the start of the year to unveil a new event in Overwatch 2, namely the so-called Battle for Olympus – a special limited-time play mode in which select heroes have powers from Greek mythology.

References to Hades, Gorgona, Zeus and other iconic figures are here. The entire game will offer players special rewards and cosmetic items, naturally, so it is worth taking part.

That’s how the producers of the game describe the action itself:

Introducing Battle for Olympus – a brand new, time-limited Deathmatch mode featuring 7 of your favorite heroes with modified abilities using the power of the gods! Keep an eye on the global scoreboard, where we will record the elimination of each hero throughout the event! The character with the highest score will be immortalized for posterity and will receive his own statue on Illyos!

Battle for Olympus event will last until January 19. Have you played Overwatch 2? What do you think about this game? Let us know in the comments section below.
