Resident Evil 4 Remake, Enters Its Final Stages of Development

Lists of the most anticipated games of 2023 cannot fail to include the name of Resident Evil 4 Remake, the new remaster with which Capcom continues to breathe new life into the older episodes of its celebrated survival horror saga.

With the message of best wishes for a happy 2023, Resident Evil 4 Remake producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi has given a shot in the arm to fans who are particularly looking forward to the moment when they will be back in the shoes of Leon S.

Kennedy. Speaking to the microphones of Famitsu, Hirabayashi indeed revealed how the survival horror is now in the final stage of development, basically giving confirmation that a postponement of the launch date is as unlikely as it gets at Capcom.

“We are working hard to bring you more information about Resident Evil 4 in preparation for its release on March 24,” Hirabyashi said. “The game’s development is in the final sprint to bring the team together and make it even better. Please have just a little more patience.”

Let’s assume, at this stage, that the news about Resident Evil 4 Remake will not be long in coming in this early 2023, and it’s also likely that Capcom will publish a demo just as it did with all the recent chapters in the series.

Looking forward to the debut set for March 24 on PC, PS5, PS4 and Xbox Series X|S, please refer to our Resident Evil 4 Remake Preview for further insights into Capcom’s new survival horror.
