System Shock Remake Will Not Be Postponed

Soon more gamers will get acquainted with the System Shock series. Nightdive Studios confirmed the positive news and apparently the title did not score a delay on the last straight and System Shock Remake will debut in March.

The early 2023 releases will include Forspoken, Dead Space Remake, Hogwarts Legacy, Atomic Heart Destiny 2: Lightfall, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Skull and Bones or Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Resident Evil 4, among others.

However, this respectable group will be expanded, since Nightdive Studios has confirmed that it has not changed its plans and wants to offer its game in the ongoing quarter.

Developers still haven’t confirmed final details, however Nightdive Studios released a New Year’s message on Kickstarter, confirming that System Shock Remake will debut in March.

“The scope and scale of the project has grown tremendously, and the addition of Prime Matter has allowed us to focus on quality of life improvements, bug fixes and localization support – the last major steps towards the release of a game we’re all incredibly proud of. It also gave us time to go back and polish various aspects of the game that needed additional shine,” the developers confirm.

Among other things, System Shock Remake will encounter refreshed enemies, an entirely new type of enemies or a slightly altered Citadel. Developers have also developed a full-fledged dismemberment system and improved weapon effects.

However, Prime Matter now faces a daunting task, since System Shock Remake certainly needs adequate space, and in March several high-profile games will debut that are sure to compete with Nightdive Studios’ title for players’ attention.
