Undisputed, the highly-anticipated boxing game developed by Steel City Interactive and published by Plaion, is set to launch on Steam Early Access on January 31st. Players will be able to enjoy both online and offline modes, featuring a roster of over 50 boxers and seven unique locations.
Naturally, as the game progresses through its early access phase, more content will be added, including a career mode, customization tools for creating fighters, additional boxers, and additional rings. The game also released a new trailer to showcase its features.
Undisputed is also in development for Xbox and PlayStation consoles, but at this time there is no estimated release date for the console version of the game.
This will depend on the feedback and performance of the Early Access version on PC, and the direction the developers take in response to it.
The highly-anticipated version of the boxing game features a star-studded roster, including the likes of Tyson Fury, Canelo Alvarez, Deontay Wilder, and Katie Taylor, as well as a selection of female boxers.
With six locations to choose from, players can expect an immersive and authentic experience. Steel City Interactive is working closely with some of the biggest names in the sport, such as the World Boxing Council, the British Boxing Board of Control, Empire, and more, to ensure the game accurately represents the sport of boxing.
One of the most striking features of the game is its dynamic footwork system, which allows players to move around the ring with ease, dodging and cornering their opponents.
Additionally, players have access to more than 60 different punches, each with its own unique angle and direction, as well as a comprehensive defense system to block blows and find openings.
Physical interactions, such as dodging and breaking through defenses, will also be possible, adding to the realism and immersion of the game.
