World Makers has recently released the first trailer of Deceit 2, the sequel to the online horror game Deceit, which was launched back in 2017.

While the first installment received mixed reviews, the developers have taken note of the feedback and aim to improve the game with the use of Unreal Engine 5, a game engine that allows for stunning graphics and advanced features.

Deceit 2 promises to offer much better graphics than the original game, thanks to the new engine. The game will feature more maps and allow players to join with up to nine friends.

Players will once again play as a team trying to survive while attempting to unmask any saboteurs amongst them. The gameplay will continue to be shooter-based, but with an added theme of uncertainty.

The developers plan to release Deceit 2 on multiple platforms, including Steam for PC and PS5, PS4, XSX, and XOne for consoles. The game is scheduled to release in the second half of 2023.

The trailer for Deceit 2 gives a glimpse of the gameplay, which appears to be more polished than its predecessor. The use of Unreal Engine 5 has allowed for more detailed environments, lighting, and animations.

The teaser also suggests that the game will continue to have a horror-infused atmosphere, with unsettling imagery and a chilling soundtrack.

Fans of the original Deceit game and horror game enthusiasts will surely be excited to try out the sequel, especially with the improvements promised by the developers.

With the game’s release date set for the latter half of 2023, players will have to wait patiently for its arrival. Nonetheless, the wait seems worth it, as Deceit 2 has already shown promise in its first trailer.
