Switzerland is renowned for its picturesque roads that wind through mountainous terrain, and the upcoming update aims to capture the essence of this iconic country.
In December, SCS Software announced that Switzerland in Euro Truck Simulator 2 would be given a major overhaul.
Since then, we’ve been treated to glimpses of the new versions of Bern and Geneva, but the latest preview showcases the stunning Alpine landscapes that characterize this country.

As most of Switzerland’s terrain is covered by the Alps, developers at SCS Software made it a priority to reproduce the local views as accurately as possible.
This resulted in three south-to-north routes that showcase the natural beauty of Switzerland’s roads like never before.
For those curious about the new Swiss landscapes, SCS Software has released a video on their official Twitter account and a series of screenshots for fans to enjoy.
Despite the stunning visuals, SCS Software has not yet revealed when the update will be released. However, players can already enjoy the test version of ETS2 update 1.47, which includes new versions of several German cities, including Nuremberg and Frankfurt am Main.
