As Rocket League transitioned to a free-to-play model, it has continued to thrive, though the previous two seasons have seen a decrease in activity. Despite this, the game’s developers, Psyonix, have launched the 10th season of the competition.

Epic Games has yet to release a native version for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but the latest season introduces one of the most iconic cars in history, at least in some regions: the German Volkswagen Golf II GTI.

The addition of the GTI to the Rocket League car roster, along with the Octane car’s hitbox, is sure to excite fans in the coming months.

Alongside the GTI, the game has also received an updated version of the Deadeye Canyon map, featuring a refreshed and more vibrant environment. Players can also expect a Rocket Pass full of relaxing, spring-themed rewards.

The season kicked off on March 8, and fans are already flocking to the servers to try out the new features. With the addition of the Volkswagen Golf II GTI, Psyonix has once again shown their commitment to providing fresh and exciting content for Rocket League players.
