The highly anticipated Contagion Bundle DLC for The Callisto Protocol, a sci-fi survival horror game, will be released on March 14th for PC and consoles.
Developed by Striking Distance Studios, this new add-on includes a new mode designed to test even the most seasoned players and a range of death animations to add to the game’s macabre atmosphere.
The Contagion mode is the centerpiece of this new DLC. It is designed to be even more challenging than the previously released Hardcore mode, as players will face reduced ammunition and medical kits, as well as permadeath, meaning they will have to start the game over if they die. The Contagion Bundle also includes 14 new death animations that add to the already impressive range of ways in which players can meet their demise. Finally, the Watchover Skin collection is included in the Contagion Bundle, giving players access to an alternative costume for the game’s protagonist and other items to customize their character’s appearance.
