The Last of Us Part I PC Port Receives Negative Reviews, Becomes Worst-Rated Naughty Dog Game

The highly-anticipated release of The Last of Us Part I on PC has been met with disappointment, as the game receives negative reviews and becomes the worst-rated Naughty Dog game in history.

PlayStation Studios has been releasing more of their games for PC, but not all of them have been given proper support. The Last of Us Part I, in particular, needs more updates as many players and journalists are currently complaining about the quality of the game.

Recently, the game has received terrible ratings on Steam with “mostly negative” reviews on Valve’s platform. Only 39% of the reviews are positive.

While Naughty Dog was not responsible for the port, they are listed as the “producer” on Valve’s platform, and many players are criticizing the studio for the issues with the PC port.

Sony chose not to pre-release reviews for The Last of Us Part I on PC, and only recently have the first opinions from journalists appeared.

Currently, the game has a rating of 58%, which is the worst result in the history of Naughty Dog and one of the lowest ratings for any PlayStation team.

GameStar, a German gaming website, gave the game the highest score of 77/100, praising the story, gameplay, and ability to play with a mouse.

However, they also mentioned “technical problems” in their review. Multiplayer, an Italian website, gave the game a rating of 75/100, citing a few inconveniences and a high price.

On the other hand, Wegotthiscovered gave the game a dismal score of 20/100, describing it as a “buggy mess” that “keeps crashing and requires hours of setup before playing.”

The reviewer advised readers to avoid the game until the developers fix the issues. Gamereactor UK also mentioned the production being “drowned in bugs, stuttering, mess with shadows, and non-loading textures.”

Overall, it seems that the quality of The Last of Us Part I on PC largely depends on the hardware being used. Reviews for the game range from 20/100 to 77/100, indicating a wide variety of experiences with the PC port.

Technical Issues Plague The Last of Us Part I PC Port

Despite its reputation as a critically acclaimed game on the PlayStation, the PC port of The Last of Us Part I has been met with disappointment due to a number of technical issues. Players have reported crashes, bugs, stuttering, issues with shadows and non-loading textures, and long setup times.

Many of the negative reviews point out that the port requires significant updates to improve the overall gaming experience.

However, it is worth noting that some reviewers have had a better experience with the game, citing the story, gameplay, and ability to use a mouse as positives.

Ultimately, it seems that the success of The Last of Us Part I on PC is heavily dependent on the hardware being used. Players with powerful PCs may have a better experience with the game, while those with lower-end hardware may struggle with technical issues.

As of now, it remains to be seen whether Naughty Dog and the PC port developer will address the technical issues and improve the overall quality of the game on PC.
