Star Wars Jedi Survivor: A Sequel That Expands on Everything Seen in Fallen Order

The Creators Promise Bigger Story, Gameplay, and Improvements.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor, the highly anticipated sequel to Jedi Fallen Order, is set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC at the end of this month. The creators of the game, Respawn, have promised that this title will expand on everything seen in the first game in the best possible way.

In an interview with VGC, Visual UI Designer Daanish Syed and Respawn Senior Producer Paul Hatfield discussed the new features and improvements players can expect from this sequel.

Hatfield explained that Stig Asmussen, the director of Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor, was very clear about the pillars that are important to the game.

For the second game, the team has taken all the feedback and internal and player feedback and put them together to make the game even better.

Syed added, “I think Jedi Survivor is an expansion of Fallen Order in every possible way. In terms of story exploration and gameplay, everything we did and established in that game, it’s been taken to the extreme.”

This sequel is going to be much bigger than the first game and Respawn is aiming to capture new improvements that will elevate the gameplay experience.

So what’s new in this title? Well, everything. Respawn has confirmed map improvements, more metroidvania elements, side quests, fast travel, scrolling, more combat styles, and much more.

The creators have also confirmed that Star Wars Jedi Survivor will have dismemberments, which was a long-awaited feature that fans have been requesting since the release of the first game.

In addition, the game will use the features of the DualSense controller, adding even more immersion to the experience.
