Star Wars Jedi: Survivor players believe they have discovered another glitch, this time involving the game’s space troll adversaries, the Mogu.
During certain encounters, it appears that the ferocious Mogu can deal such a powerful blow that if a player dies in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, their XP might be flung away, ending up in inaccessible regions of the map, preventing Cal from recovering the lost points.
Mogu XP-Eating Glitch Gains Attention
Since the issue was first posted on the game’s subreddit, numerous players have stepped forward to share that they have also encountered this problem.
Some initially assumed that it was an intentional part of the enemy’s abilities, while others are still trying to determine if the issue arises from all Mogus or just a select few.
User u/slaymaker1907 cautioned fellow gamers: “Don’t die to this troll, he eats your XP,” further explaining, “there appears to be a bug where if you die to this specific troll, you can’t get your XP back.”
u/slaymaker1907 is not alone in experiencing this issue. Several other players have commented on the thread, expressing that they have faced the same problem. One player even mentioned that their “player death” marker was positioned three meters below the map’s surface.
It remains unclear whether this is a deliberate enemy feature or an irritating glitch. However, it seems that the Mogu’s ground attack may be the root of the problem. Players are eagerly awaiting a response from developer Respawn on the matter.
Another disgruntled Star Wars Jedi: Survivor fan recently took to social media to discuss what they consider to be a “major game-breaking bug” that appears to impact both PS5 and Xbox Series X users.
EA has acknowledged that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is “not performing to [its] standards” for PC players, especially those with “high-end machines or certain specific configurations.”
In a statement posted on the EA Star Wars Twitter account, the Jedi team expressed their commitment to “fixing these issues as soon as possible,” extending “thanks and apologies to any of [its] players experiencing these issues.”
This is just one of several problems currently afflicting the troubled title. To date, thousands of dissatisfied players have left negative reviews on the game’s Steam page, resulting in a “mixed” aggregate score based on all submitted reviews.
