Ubisoft+ to Debut on Xbox Consoles Soon, Insider Believes

Insider information hints at the potential release date of Ubisoft+ on Xbox consoles.

Ubisoft+

It looks like the French gaming company’s subscription service will soon be available for Microsoft console owners. Ubisoft+ was announced to be coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles in January of last year, and icons for the service were found in the Xbox Store a month later.

However, there hasn’t been any official announcement regarding the subscription’s release date on Microsoft devices. Fortunately, an industry insider seems to have some insider knowledge about the matter.

According to Jez Corden, a renowned journalist in the gaming industry, the launch of Ubisoft+ on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S is “imminent.” Corden didn’t provide any specifics about the service’s debut on Microsoft consoles, but his statement is enough to excite gamers who have been eagerly waiting for the release.

Recently, a dataminer with the username “ScriptLeaksR6” also claimed that Ubisoft+ would be available to Xbox console owners in mid-April, which aligns with Corden’s announcement. Despite this, neither Microsoft nor Ubisoft has confirmed the reports.

It’s worth noting that Ubisoft+ is currently only available on PC, with a monthly subscription fee of $14.99. The subscription cost for Xbox consoles hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s expected to be similar to the PC fee.

Furthermore, unlike EA Play, Ubisoft+ won’t be part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and instead, it will be a standalone subscription service.

In conclusion, it seems that gamers who own Microsoft consoles will soon be able to enjoy Ubisoft+’s extensive library of games.

We hope that an official announcement will be made soon to confirm the release date and other details regarding the subscription’s debut on Xbox consoles.
