From Software to Speed Up Release Schedule, Keeping Fans Entertained

From Software is Simultaneously Developing "Multiple" Productions.

From Software, the Japanese video game development studio, recently announced plans to accelerate their release schedule, much to the delight of their fans.

During an interview with Eurogamer, Yasuhiro Kitao, the producer of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, shared that the studio is currently working on several productions simultaneously.

Kitao also revealed that each team is focused on different projects, with the intention of reducing the length of time between game releases.

It seems that From Software has already started putting their plan into action. The studio released Elden Ring early last year and is set to release Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon in just a few months. Additionally, the studio has been working on Shadow of the Erdtree, an add-on for Elden Ring, for several months.

From Software

From Software’s efforts to increase their game releases are a welcome change for fans who have been waiting for new titles from the studio.

Kitao’s comments during the interview suggest that the studio is committed to producing a variety of games, each with its own unique style and gameplay.

For those eagerly anticipating the release of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S starting August 25, 2023.

However, it’s worth noting that the upcoming installment of the Armored Core series will not feature a co-op mode in the story campaign. Fans can already place pre-orders for the game.

From Software’s announcement of their plans to release games more frequently is great news for fans who have long been waiting for new titles.

With multiple productions currently in development, it’s exciting to see what From Software has in store for gamers in the coming months and years.
