Google Announces its First Foldable Smartphone: The Pixel Fold

The Pixel Fold is officially unveiled by Google, launching in the USA and select countries.

Google has entered the foldable smartphone market with the announcement of the Pixel Fold during Google I/O. This new addition brings the foldable display revolution to the Pixel family, although it is not currently planned for release in Italy.

The Pixel Fold is powered by the Tensor G2 processor, previously seen in the Google Pixel 7 and the recently announced Google Pixel 7a. It also features the Titan M2 security co-processor, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage.

The external display is a 5.8-inch OLED with a resolution of 1080×2092 and a pixel density of 408ppi, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate.

The internal foldable display measures 7.6 inches with a 6:5 ratio, a resolution of 1840×2208, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The camera setup includes a triple rear camera, consisting of a 48 MP main sensor with OIS, a 10.8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 121.1-degree field of view, and a 10.8 MP dual pixel 5x telephoto lens.
