Amazon Leak Reveals All About the Google Pixel Tablet Just Before Google I/O

With rumors surrounding the Pixel 7a and confirmation of the Pixel Fold already generating buzz, the upcoming Google Pixel Tablet is now the center of attention just days before the anticipated Google I/O event.

While Google officially announced the Pixel Tablet last year, specifics about its specifications, pricing, and availability remained unknown.

However, a recent leak on Amazon unveiled all of this eagerly awaited information (the product listing has since been taken down, but Google has cached the information).

According to the details provided by Amazon, the Pixel Tablet will come with a Google Tensor G2 chip, which is also featured in the Pixel 7a and the Pixel Fold.

The tablet will boast a 10.95-inch 16:10 aspect ratio LCD screen with a 2560×1600 pixel resolution and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. It will be compatible with a USI 2.0 stylus and will offer 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, along with 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Pixel Tablet Camera and Connectivity Features

The Pixel Tablet will be outfitted with two 8-megapixel sensors, one on the front and one on the back. Additionally, the device will include four speakers for immersive stereo sound, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, and support for Wi-Fi 6 (2×2 MIMO), Bluetooth 5.2, and UWB.

The tablet can also be docked via pogo pins on the back, as shown in the Amazon leak. With a 27 Wh battery capacity, the tablet should offer up to 12 hours of battery life.

The Amazon product listing revealed that the Pixel Tablet will be available in Japan starting June 20, with a price tag of around 80,000 yen (approximately 530 euros).

The tablet will come in two color options: porcelain and “Hazel.” Camera features listed on Amazon include Magic Eraser, Long Exposure Live HDR+, and Night View, all of which are already found in other Pixel devices.
