Roblox, the popular online platform, is taking a step further in diversifying its offerings by introducing a new regulation that allows creators to develop content specifically designed for users aged 17 and above.
In a recent official blog post, Manuel Bronstein, Roblox’s Chief Product Officer, revealed that creators will have the responsibility to label their experiences as mature, indicating that they may contain elements such as violence, blood, or crude humor that go beyond what is typically found in Roblox experiences.

The introduction of age-appropriate access is not primarily driven by safety concerns but rather by the desire to push the boundaries of virtual experiences. Bronstein expressed the intention to “simulate and even go beyond what’s possible in the real world.”
