New Sex Education Season 4 Trailer Introduces Rival Sex Therapist at School

Prepare for a new school year filled with romance, rivalry, and self-discovery.

Sex Education

Get ready to dive into the drama, laughter, and romantic entanglements of Moordale’s students once again, as the eagerly awaited full-length trailer for Sex Education season 4 has just dropped. This season promises fresh challenges and intriguing developments for our beloved characters, particularly for Otis (Asa Butterfield).

After Moordale Secondary closed its doors at the end of season 3, Otis, Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), and their friends are forced to embark on a new chapter at the liberal Cavendish College. However, the transition is far from smooth, as they find themselves navigating unfamiliar territory.

Otis, in particular, faces a surprising revelation – he’s not the sole sex therapist on campus anymore. A mysterious figure known as “O” emerges as his rival, adding an exciting layer of competition to the series.

While Otis grapples with his newfound rival, Maeve (Emma Mackey) embarks on her own adventure. She’s off to study at a prestigious college in the United States, guided by none other than an acclaimed author played by Dan Levy. Despite the distance, Maeve and Otis attempt to nurture their budding romance in creative ways, determined to make it work.

Meanwhile, Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood) is adjusting to life without a boyfriend and without Maeve as her constant companion. Otis’ mother, Jean (Gillian Anderson), faces the challenges of motherhood once again, and Eric finds his place in both Cavendish College’s queer community and the church.

The trailer also hints at an emotional conversation between Eric and his ex-boyfriend, Adam (Connor Swindells), as Eric imparts the wisdom that “you have to believe that you deserve good things. You have to love yourself.”

Notably, this upcoming season will also mark the conclusion of the beloved comedy-drama series. It will consist of the usual eight episodes but will culminate with a feature-length finale lasting a captivating 83 minutes.

Mark your calendars, as Sex Education season 4 is set to arrive on Netflix on September 21. The countdown to another season of love, laughter, and life lessons begins as fans eagerly await its release.
