Saying Goodbye to Game Pass: Weird West and Prodeus Exiting Soon

As new games join Xbox Game Pass, we bid adieu to some favorites - including Weird West and Prodeus.

Weird West

As the gaming community eagerly anticipates the second wave of Game Pass titles for September, a list of games preparing to bid farewell to the service on October 1st has been uncovered.

Among the titles set to depart, gamers can still look forward to the Soulslike experience of “Lies of P,” which joins Game Pass tomorrow as a day one addition.

To find the full list of games scheduled to exit Game Pass, you can refer to the “leaving soon” section within the Xbox app.

Among the notable departures is “Weird West,” an isometric action RPG from the studio founded by Arkane’s Raphaël Colantonio, WolfEye Studios. Also departing is “Prodeus,” an FPS game that draws inspiration from iconic classics like Doom and Quake. If you haven’t had the chance to explore these titles, now’s the time to give them a try before they vanish from the service.

In addition to these titles, you have just a couple of weeks left to enjoy games such as the side-scrolling platformer “Moonscars,” the indie narrative adventure “Beacon Pines,” the online co-op RPG “Outriders,” and the rogue-like auto battler “Despot’s Game.”

For PC Game Pass members, this month also marks the departure of the final game from indie developer Zachtronics, “Last Call BBS,” and the programming puzzler “Shenzen I/O.” These titles will be leaving the service at the end of the month.

As is customary, Game Pass subscribers can take advantage of a 20 percent discount on games available in the Game Pass library. So, if any of the departing titles catch your eye, you still have a couple of weeks to acquire them at a discounted price.

It’s worth noting that Xbox recently introduced Game Pass Core as the successor to Games with Gold, offering gamers access to a curated selection of 36 games for £7 a month. As the gaming landscape continues to evolve, Game Pass remains a fantastic way to explore a diverse array of titles and discover new gaming experiences.
