Grand Theft Auto VI

As the wait for the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series, GTA 6, continues, fans have taken their anticipation to a new level by deciphering moon-related clues in an attempt to predict the game’s official reveal date.

GTA 5, released over a decade ago, has left fans eagerly anticipating the next chapter in the franchise. The speculative frenzy surrounding GTA 6 has led to some rather unconventional theories about when we might finally catch a glimpse of the game, with the latest being perhaps the most peculiar yet.

This intriguing twist in the GTA 6 saga revolves around an image shared by Rockstar as part of the latest GTA Online Update. In the image, two characters are seen wearing red Happy Moon Tees, a reward for participating in the Moon Festival. While it may seem like a simple promotional image, fans are convinced it holds the key to the official unveiling of GTA 6.

A Reddit user known as ApprehensiveTop8927 pointed out a hidden detail in the image: the famous Vinewood sign, which is partially obscured, revealing only the letters V and I. When combined, these letters form the Roman numeral for six, hinting at the potential announcement of GTA’s sixth installment.

However, the clues don’t stop there. According to the same Reddit user, past GTA and Red Dead Redemption games were typically unveiled on Tuesdays, with many of them being revealed in the month of October. For instance, Red Dead Redemption 2 made its debut on Tuesday, October 26, 2018, while GTA 5 was first showcased on October 25, 2011, also a Tuesday.

Adding another layer to this moonlit puzzle, fans have noted that the moon in the background of the image appears to be in a waning gibbous phase. Interestingly, in real life, this phase coincides with Monday, October 2. This alignment has sparked speculation that an announcement related to GTA 6 could be imminent.

User @Dirty_Worka, who shared this discovery, commented, “Rockstar really does like hiding stuff in plain sight, and they’re a very clever bunch. Part of me wouldn’t be surprised if they did something like this.”

While these theories have ignited excitement among fans, it’s important to remember that the moon may not be the most reliable source for predicting a game reveal. Until Rockstar officially confirms a date for the long-awaited GTA 6 reveal, it’s advisable to approach these speculations with cautious optimism. The gaming community eagerly awaits the moment when the next chapter of Grand Theft Auto will finally be unveiled to the world.
