This mythology extends into an animated series, “Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas,” which was planned to follow the movie but unfortunately never came to fruition.
Snyder hinted at a crossover within this animated series where characters would traverse through a portal to another dimension, encountering beings that would later appear in “Rebel Moon.”
The connection is made concrete in “Rebel Moon,” where an alien character from the unproduced animated series makes an appearance in a bar scene, establishing the shared universe.
