The Doll of Horror: Chucky Joins ‘Dead by Daylight’ This November

Horror icon Chucky brings a new level of terror to 'Dead by Daylight,' complete with classic voice acting and killer moves.

Dead by Daylight,” the popular asymmetrical multiplayer game, is set to welcome a new killer to its roster, and it’s none other than the infamous Chucky from the “Child’s Play” slasher-movie franchise.

The announcement has stirred excitement among fans, as the game’s latest chapter update is scheduled for November 28, introducing the doll-turned-serial-killer into the game’s eerie universe.

The game’s developer, Behaviour Interactive, has pulled out all the stops to ensure an authentic Chucky experience. Brad Dourif, the original voice actor for Chucky, is reprising his role, adding a layer of nostalgia and authenticity to the gameplay.

Additionally, players will have the option to customize Chucky with the Good Gal outfit, inspired by Tiffany Valentine from “Bride of Chucky,” with Jennifer Tilly lending her voice to the character.

Chucky’s in-game abilities are as menacing as fans would expect, with a “Slice & Dice” ability that allows him to lunge at his prey, closing the distance with deadly efficiency.

His human form, Charles Lee Ray, will also play a part, assisting in spirit form. Chucky’s unique size and agility let him scamper through windows and under pallets, adding a new dynamic to the game’s strategy.

“Dead by Daylight” has been praised as an “incredible slasher film simulator” and the “best asymmetrical multiplayer game around,” and the addition of Chucky is sure to enhance its reputation.

With the game’s consistent updates and the integration of iconic horror figures, it continues to be a staple for horror gaming enthusiasts.
