As the release of Feral Interactive’s adaptation of IO Interactive’s “Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal” approaches, we take an exclusive look at the game’s advanced graphics and performance options.
Feral Interactive is known for tailoring their game conversions to maximize both visuals and performance on specific devices, and “Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal” is no exception. This title promises to offer a range of settings to cater to various preferences and device capabilities.
Customizable Graphics and Frame Rate Settings
“Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal” introduces a spectrum of graphics presets and frame rate options, enabling players to personalize their gaming experience.
The game features a color correction toggle, allowing players to adjust the tint for a more immersive experience. Additionally, the field of view can be varied from 35 to 75, providing players with the flexibility to choose their preferred visual perspective.
The game offers four distinct graphics presets:
- Battery Saver Mode: This mode minimizes graphics quality and caps the frame rate at 30fps, optimizing for longer battery life.
- Graphics Mode: This setting offers good graphics quality at a stable 30fps.
- Performance Mode: This mode is designed for smoother gameplay, lowering graphics quality for a 60fps performance.
- Performance+ Mode: Targeting high-end devices, this mode lowers graphics quality to achieve up to 90fps. However, it’s not available on all devices, for instance, it works on the iPhone 15 Pro but not on the 2020 non-M1 iPad Pro.
An advanced graphics menu is also available, providing an override option for the preset modes. This menu allows for further customization, including frame rate targets up to 120fps.
Feral Interactive notes that this advanced setting could be particularly beneficial when using additional peripherals like the Razer cooling device, which can enhance performance allowing for higher graphics settings at 90fps.
Availability and Support
Feral Interactive clarifies that while players can experiment with these advanced settings, official support will be limited to issues within the standard presets. The game is set for release on both iOS and Android platforms, with pre-orders available on the App Store and pre-registration on Google Play.
