World of Warships, the popular naval combat game, is starting 2024 with a host of exciting updates and events. Players can look forward to new US aircraft carriers, various progression events, the return of the Bounty Hunt, a fresh hololive collaboration, and the 15th season of ranked battles. These additions promise to enhance the gaming experience with new challenges and rewards.

A significant highlight of the update is the introduction of three new US aircraft carriers: the Tier VI Independence, Tier VIII Yorktown, and Tier X Essex. These carriers bring unique gameplay dynamics as they are limited to a single standard squadron, with torpedo bombers featuring two additional tactical squadrons.

These squadrons are divided into direct attack and dive bomber aircraft, offering players more strategic depth. At Tier VIII, tactical squadrons gain access to the new Smoke Curtain Generator consumable, adding another layer to tactical gameplay.

In conjunction with these new carriers, World of Warships introduces the US Air Carriers event. This event spans 20 levels of daily and weekly missions, rewarding players with flags, camouflages, and containers. For those seeking more, a second progression line with another 20 levels is available, offering additional rewards and challenges.

The Bounty Hunt event makes a comeback on February 1st, presenting players with unique challenges and rewards. Following closely, the game revives its collaboration with hololive on February 2nd.

This event will feature several VTubers as commanders, including Moona Hoshinova, Takanashi Kiara, Shishiro Botan, and Watson Amelia, bringing a blend of virtual entertainment and naval warfare. The collaboration includes resale items like skins, consumables, a camo bundle, and flags.

For competitive players, Season 15 of Ranked Battles returns on January 10th, offering a traditional competitive environment with new challenges. Additionally, World of Warships is set to introduce three new Brawls on January 15th, each with unique rule sets for an added challenge.

These updates and events are set to make 2024 an exciting year for World of Warships players. With new ships, challenging events, unique collaborations, and competitive gameplay, the game continues to offer a rich and evolving naval combat experience.
