Update Patch 8 introduces several innovative features designed to enhance the gaming experience. This update is part of Respawn’s ongoing commitment to improve the game based on player feedback and evolving gaming standards.
New Features for an Immersive Experience
The latest patch brings a range of new functionalities to “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor”:
- High Contrast Mode: This new feature allows players to desaturate the game’s environment, enabling critical narrative and gameplay elements to be highlighted using specific colors. This enhancement is particularly beneficial for visually impaired players, as it makes important aspects of the game more distinguishable.
- Audio Ping Functionality: Adding a new layer to the gameplay, the audio ping functionality enables players to both passively and actively ping their surroundings. This innovative feature allows for the echolocation of objects and interactable elements, enhancing the sensory experience and accessibility of the game.
- Slow Motion Presets: The update introduces additional slow motion presets, providing players with more control over their gameplay experience. Gamers can now toggle between their own custom slow motion value and three new presets set at 30%, 50%, and 75%.
