The official Kingdom Hearts social media accounts posted a new image hinting at more details of Quadratum, the main setting of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 4. The artwork depicts protagonist Sora gazing up at large video billboards in a city street, all promoting the character Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII.

The image is likely teasing more of Quadratum, the sprawling fictional city modeled after Tokyo’s Shibuya district that Sora explores in Kingdom Hearts 4. Fans can tell it’s set in Quadratum based on the distinctive 104 skyscraper in the background, which has been shown in previous Kingdom Hearts 4 footage when the game was first revealed.

The fun social media post was timed with the launch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which officially released for PlayStation 5 on December 16. It references a real-world ad campaign currently blanketing Shibuya with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth promos, as captured by fans online. The Kingdom Hearts artwork playfully recreates the ads with Sephiroth towering over the streets of Quadratum.

While brief, the new artwork provides another small glimpse into Quadratum, where Sora finds himself stranded in Kingdom Hearts 4.
