Tamron Hall Renewed for Sixth Season as Daytime Talk Show Continues to Thrive

The ABC-distributed program maintains its position as a top-3 syndicated talk series, earning praise for host Tamron Hall's 'meaningful connection and thoughtful conversations.

In a testament to its continued success, the Tamron Hall-hosted daytime talk show has been renewed for a sixth season, ensuring the program’s presence on television screens through the 2024-2025 season.

The renewal comes from a collaboration between ABC Owned Television Stations and leading broadcast groups, including Hearst, Scripps, Nexstar, Tegna, Gray, and AMG. Tamron Hall, who serves as both the host and an executive producer of the show, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to expand the program’s community-building mission.

“From the start, I saw the show as a chance to build a community. Now, here we are, preparing for season six. Wow,” said Hall. “Thank you to my team and my beloved Tam Fam for nurturing my dream and growing this community. We are a daily destination to talk, laugh, learn and be inspired together.”

The renewal comes on the heels of a successful fifth season for the talk show, which has maintained its position as the third-highest rated among the nine one-hour syndicated talk programs currently on the air. Additionally, the program has become the second-longest-running talk show produced by Disney.

ABC News President Kim Godwin praised Tamron Hall and her team, noting that the show “gets to the core of humanity through meaningful connection and thoughtful conversations whether covering the most-talked-about issues of the day or interviewing the newsmakers shaping our world.”

Debra OConnell, president of the news group and networks at Disney Entertainment, echoed these sentiments, stating that “whether Tamron is authentically connecting with her guests, digging more deeply into meaningful topics, or simply having a fabulous time, viewers are responding to her distinctive style, warmth and personal approach.”

The show’s fifth season has seen a diverse array of high-profile guests, including Angela Bassett, Jeffrey Wright, Kenan Thompson, Elizabeth Hurley, Teyana Taylor, Ronda Rousey, and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, among others. This breadth of talent and subject matter has been a hallmark of the Tamron Hall program, which continues to captivate audiences with its blend of insightful interviews and lighthearted moments.
