Smurfs Village Party: A Chaotic Celebration of Fun and Adventure

New game offers multiplayer party madness and a solo adventure through the Smurfs' world

The Smurfs: Village Party

A massive celebration is underway in the world of the Smurfs. Papa Smurf is organizing an exceptional party, calling all his little blue companions from near and far to join in the festivities. The newly released video game “The Smurfs: Village Party” invites players to participate in this rambunctious event in two exhilarating ways.

The first is the Adventure mode, an original story that tasks players with exploring 10 vibrant environments like the Enchanted Forest and Snowy Mountains. The goal? Recruit over 100 iconic Smurfs like Brainy, Jokey, and more to Papa’s party by completing quests and overcoming the meddlesome Gargamel’s efforts to spoil the fun.

“We wanted to give fans a truly immersive adventure that captures the spirit of the Smurfs’ world,” said Game Director Jean Lemoine. “From lush landscapes to beloved characters, players will be smurfed into an unforgettable journey.”

But the real chaos begins in the Party Game mode, where up to four players locally can smurfing compete in 50 wildly varied mini-games. Sporting events, memory challenges, battles, and more drawn from the carefree Smurf attitude await.

“With 19 playable Smurfs and over 30 outfits to customize them, Village Party has infinite possibilities for zany multiplayer mayhem,” Lemoine explained. “Prepare for hours of smurftastic competition!”

Players can choose from classic Smurfs like Hefty and Clumsy, or take control of more obscure characters pulled from the franchise’s history. Brainy’s smug assertiveness or Jokey’s prank-filled antics may give some an edge.

While kid-friendly, Village Party also packs layers of references and Easter eggs appealing to long-time Smurfs fans. Paying homage to the beloved 1980s cartoon and classic comics is crucial.

“We were entrusted with an iconic property that’s sacred to generations,” said Lemoine. “Every visual, joke, and gameplay moment had to feel authentically Smurf.”

With addictive multiplayer, a rich world to explore solo, and unparalleled Smurf spirit, The Smurfs: Village Party shapes up to be the biggest little blue celebration yet. Grab some friends and get ready to Party!
