Woah, what an epic season finale for The Acolyte! There were so many huge reveals and epic Star Wars callbacks. Let me break down some of the coolest parts.
We found out the biggest surprise – Mae and Osha aren’t actually twins or sisters at all. They’re one person split into two consciousnesses! I definitely didn’t see that twist coming.
In another scene, a senator totally calls out the Jedi Order. She accuses them of being unchecked power, which is interesting since we later see them fall.
Some fans think we might have gotten our first live-action look at the legendary Darth Plagueis too! He’s mentioned super briefly but it was such an epic cameo if true.
The climax pays homage to Return of the Jedi when Luke faces the Emperor. Just like that, Qimir tries tricking Mae to the dark side. But then Osha takes things to a whole new level instead.
Her bleeding a blue lightsaber crystal red was visually amazing too. Really shows her fully turning to the dark side.
Even Yoda shows up for a quick scene! And thankfully the plot hole about the Sith was solved too. Now I need season 2 ASAP to see where this crazy story goes next. The Acolyte finale blew me away – how about you guys?
