Harrison Ford Debuts as President Ross, Unveils Adamantium at SDCC

Marvel Unveils Adamantium in Captain America: Brave New World at SDCC

Captain America: Brave New World

The Marvel panel at Comic-Con was awesome! They showed some crazy footage from the new Captain America movie that’s got everyone excited. Take a look at what they revealed!

In a new scene, President Ross is speaking to world leaders at the White House. He talks about this huge mass they found in the Indian Ocean. Apparently it’s a huge chunk of some ancient alien dudes called Celestials! I had no idea what that was about but it sounds wild.

Then Ross drops this bomb – he introduces everyone to adamantium! If you read Marvel comics you know adamantium is this super tough metal that’s almost indestructible. Seeing it brought to life in the MCU is gonna shake things up for sure. It might even make vibranium, the metal from Black Panther’s homeland, look like aluminum foil in comparison!

I’m curious where this adamantium even came from too. Ross connecting it to the Celestial mass has my mind racing with questions. Are the Celestials involved with its creation somehow? There’s gotta be an epic backstory there.

Harrison Ford takes over the role of Ross from the late William Hurt. He said Hurt set the bar high and he’s honored to follow in his footsteps. I think Ford will do great in the part.

The movie focuses on the power struggle between Ross and new Cap, Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie. It looks like they’re going to dive deep into what discovering adamantium means for global politics too. I can’t wait to see how this all plays out and what effects it’ll have on future Marvel adventures.

With crazy new elements like adamantium and hints of ancient space gods, Captain America: Brave New World is primed to shake things up in the MCU in a big way. Roll on February 2025!
