Marvel’s ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Sets Disney+ Return Date, Cox Teases Costume Evolution

The highly anticipated series will see Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio reprise their roles in a new chapter of the Hell's Kitchen saga

Daredevil: Born Again

Marvel Studios has revealed that the popular Daredevil series will return to Disney+ with all of the original series’ main characters. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise their roles as the vigilante Daredevil/Matt Murdock and the criminal kingpin Wilson Fisk. The new 18-episode series titled “Daredevil: Born Again” will premiere on March 4, 2025 for U.S. viewers and the following day in the UK.

The series marks a comeback for the Netflix show, which finished its third season in 2018 but faced delays in continuing the story. Marvel has now aligned the continuity with its television plans. According to the synopsis, the story will focus on Murdock working as a lawyer while Fisk aims for political power. Their histories are expected to lead to an intense clash between Murdock’s justice and Fisk’s ambition.

At New York Comic Con, Cox shared his excitement about wearing a new red Daredevil suit. Unlike past costumes like the recent yellow suit in “She-Hulk,” Cox hopes this one includes the memorable “DD” logo. He praised the updated suit’s “really cool” shade of red. The returning cast also includes Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and Jon Bernthal. Cox teased that viewers will learn more about Fisk’s criminal operations than before from co-star D’Onofrio’s “deeper” portrayal.

By restoring the continuity after revisions, Marvel Studios demonstrates its commitment to the gritty, believable style popular with fans. The new series promises higher production values within the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the signature characters reappear on Disney+.
