Davidson, who once became engaged to Grande after they started dating in May 2018, recalled his past relationships with admiration. The couple became engaged in June before calling off their plans in October after a four-month engagement. Davidson’s comments come amid excitement surrounding the upcoming Oscars, where Wicked has secured 10 nominations, including categories such as best picture, best costume design, and best makeup and hairstyling.
Grande is nominated in the best supporting actress category, competing against Felicity Jones (The Brutalist), Monica Barbaro (A Complete Unknown), Isabella Rossellini (Conclave) and Zoe Saldana for her work in Emilia Pérez.
