Sony is trying to expand its PlayStation PC division, previously PlayStation Mobile, so that it can bring more games to the platform, which evidently is proving to be very profitable. Perhaps simultaneous PC / PS5 launches will come in the future.

In order to do so, they are hiring new staff. Specifically, they are seeking a director of product management for the PlayStation San Diego office, who will direct the “PlayStation PC Games Experiences” department, looking for new staff, supervising game development and collaborating the other groups at Sony Interactive Entertainment.

An ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in the field and a thorough understanding of the video game industry, particularly in the PC, cross play and cloud/mobile areas. Other sought-after skills include excellent analytical communication and interpersonal skills.

In short, in order to be selected, you will have to demonstrate great passion and a desire to bring PlayStation games to PC gamers around the world.

Sony’s strategy of expansion into the PC realm is clear to all by now and is only denied by a nostalgic few. Notable among the planned and already announced new releases are Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.

In contrast, games already launched to great acclaim include Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, Days Gone, and God of War.
