In response to recent leaks, Blizzard has finally unveiled the release date for World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Some new content for fans of the “classic” will be made available as early as September.

Blizzard accidentally revealed the release date of World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Classic last week, and we can confirm today – these were the final details of the debut. In fact, the expansion will debut on September 26.

World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Classic is, as the name suggests, an expansion pack for World of Warcraft, however, loyal fans of Blizzard’s IP are certainly very familiar with Wrath of the Lich. Originally debuted on November 13, 2008, the expansion will be available for gamers to experience via classic servers now.

World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King in its time offered a new continent (ice Northrend), inscription (profession) or Death Knight class.

At the time the expansion was very well-received by many players, and there are no lack of opinions according to which it is one of the best additions to the MMORPG developed by Blizzard.
