Is Call of Duty Coming to Xbox Game Pass Soon?

Microsoft might be preparing a real bombshell.

Microsoft is still waiting to get approval to finalize its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, through which the corporation will get the opportunity to put a number of Activision and Blizzard games into Xbox Game Pass.

The Redmond giant, however, may have already surprised by dropping the Call of Duty series into the service’s catalog.

In fact, Sony is trying to block a deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard by just throwing games from the Call of Duty series into Xbox Game Pass.

The Japanese corporation believes that customers may buy Xbox consoles in the future while knowing that they will be able to play popular shooters.

Microsoft has explicitly said that if the deal goes through, the Xbox Game Pass catalog would be expanded to include Activision and Blizzard games, but somewhat unexpectedly, one gamer has received news of the appearance of Cal of Duty Ghosts in the service’s catalog.

The gamer purchased Call of Duty Ghosts, and rather than the classic production acquisition message, the “Welcome to Game Pass.” note appeared.

Is Call of Duty coming to Xbox Game Pass soon

While this is obviously no confirmation, Microsoft might have had an interesting way to respond to Sony’s actions.

With the corporation dropping Call of Duty into the Game Pass catalog right now, Microsoft might have shown that regardless of the acquisition, subscription players will be able to play Call of Duty games.
