PlayStation has published another trailer for The Last of Us Part I. The newest video focuses entirely on the accessibility options of Naughty Dog’s production.
Developers from Naughty Dog have prepped a whole bunch of features to help gamers with disabilities or those who need certain gameplay tweaks for other reasons.
Although the average gamer is probably not going to benefit from the additional settings, their very presence will be quite invaluable for players who need gameplay support.
With a remake of The Last of Us, the famous studio is again raising the bar of accessibility. The adventure of Joel and Ellie will, among other things, enable players to “listen” to dialogues through the controller’s haptic functions, turn on full audiodescription for movie cutscenes or change the way quick time event sections are scored.
These are just the tip of the iceberg of improvements that Naughty Dog has in store, and you can have a look at some of them in the video below.
The game is set to debut on September 2 on PlayStation 5, and will also hit PC at a later date.
