The premiere of the fifth season of the series The Handmaid’s Tale will take place next week. Sadly, there is an end to every story, and the ending of this highly rated series is also fast approaching.

Hulu platform representatives have officially declared that the adaptation of the novel by author Margaret Atwood is going to end with season 6. The release date for the final episodes of this series has not yet been decided, but the screening can be expected even next year.

The Handmaid’s Tale is about life in dystopian Gilead – a totalitarian country set in the former United States. Offred (Elizabeth Moss), one of the few fertile women known in the oppressive Republic of Gilead as handmaid, fights for survival while being reduced to the role of surrogate for the powerful Commander and his wife.

Starring in the series are Elisabeth Moss, Bradley Whitford, Yvonne Strahovski, Max Minghella, O-T Fagbenle, Samira Wiley, Ann Dowd, Madeline Brewer, Amanda Brugel, Sam Jaeger.

The Handmaid’s Tale series has been produced by MGM Television. The executive producer duties are held by Bruce Miller, Warren Littlefield, Elisabeth Moss, Daniel Wilson, Fran Sears, Eric Tuchman, Yahlin Chang, Rachel Shukert, Sheila Hockin, John Weber, Frank Siracusa, Steve Stark and Kim Todd. Internationally, the series is distributed by MGM.

The production is based on the novel by the Canadian writer Margaret Atwood. The fifth season of the series The Handmaid’s Tale is planned to premiere on September 15 on HBO Max. On HBO, the premiere broadcast of the first episode of the latest season of the series will take place on September 19.
